Cavity is an architectural acoustics consultancy. We work on room acoustics, noise control, mechanical-system noise and electroacoustic design — usually all four on the same project, since they are rarely separable in practice.

The firm is small by design: every project gets a principal consultant from the first model to the final measurement, not a handoff between a sales conversation and a junior engineer. We measure before we specify materials, and we measure again after construction, because a prediction that is never checked against a tape measure and a microphone is just an opinion with decimal places.

Cavity is a fictional company built to demonstrate this WordPress theme. The room simulator on the homepage performs a genuine image-source acoustic calculation; the projects, clients and quotes on this site are illustrative, not real engagements.
